Feeling nostalgic!

God it's 7 days since my last post! Where does time go??? This either means that I've been too busy or too lazy, I think it's the former... Working 6 days a week can be quite tiring and the older I get the more I resent it, but there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. In this time of financial crisis and redundancy, I'm just glad to have a job and a fixed income.

I'm so happy to know that the Indian TV crew's strike is over (not that it's the most important thing in my life) and everything is back to normal, I can at least catch up on some programs I so long to watch! I'm feeling a bit nostalgic today. India is not my first home but I really miss being there... I love the language, the culture, the colors, the busy streets, the "Pani Puri" "chaat" "Wada Pao" "Dhokla" and so much more... I missed being there for the Gay Pride and also now when India is going through a low phase. I wish I had wings, I'd just fly there right now! (sigh) One can only dream...

At present I'm really enjoying my correspondence with an Indian girl who's so inspired by my life and the steps I took towards my sexuality (in the right direction of course). I'm reliving my beautiful past and the each and every hurdle I crossed during the process of coming out and getting married. Oops I've used the word "marriage"!!! Sorry you straight/homophobic people but we don't have a "Word" to describe this sacred union as yet. Call it "Shite" who cares... I'll stick to Civil Partnership. Yes!!! It was a beautiful experience which I will write about pretty soon.

Well I can't think straight now so am off to feed my stomach! My partner's making a nice crispy baguette stuffed with cheese and ham bologna. I can't wait to "croque" that!

Bon appétit !
